knowing not knowing

 

we are strangers not strangers

     (unto ourselves without knowing)

until strangers not strangers peer at us

with eyes of recognition

that mirror our reflections

 

we are home not home

    (seeing not seeing ourselves)

through what we think not think

from a confusing whirlpool

of knowing not knowing

 

we are all together alone

    and alone all together
