show the way

to walk past our darkness

with the power

dispel all confusion

proffering promises

not yours to make

painting your truths

of unproven substance

to absolve us

of every mistake

 

pray, regale us

with fantastic imagery

of the heavens

and hells that you know

while wretched doubters

fall at your feet

thankful and saved
